Barista/customer service duties & responsibilities include:
- Greeting and interacting with all customers in a welcoming manner.
- Maintaining a positive demeanor in a busy environment where multi-tasking, cleaning, and effective communication are required.
- Preparing batch brew and pouring over coffee according to our standards of quality.
- Maintaining coffee knowledge on current offerings and accurately communicating product information to customers.
- Tasting coffee each shift worked to improve product knowledge.
- Handling and maintaining all coffee brewing equipment properly.
- Following cash handling and cash register procedures & policies.
- Communicating with team members and management to solve problems and improve service and methods.
